Summer is finally here! A well-deserved vacation is waiting for us, but first, we have to conclude our Associative year in EUROAVIA Napoli style: with stimulating events and thrilling news!

On the 21st, 23rd, and 25th of June, we held a new exciting event, "Training New Engineers"! Our associates have been able to talk and listen to some young and successful experts who shared their experience with us and gave us pieces of advice regarding the biggest problem every neo-graduate has to face: what to do next? Each day we explored a particular field:

  • Walking in Space: our guests were Luigi Mascolo, PhD. Student in Aerospace Engineering in Turin and Mechanics of Flight Professor, and Laura Bettiol, Project Manager and Researcher in Austria. They explained how important it is to seize opportunities and never back down because we are scared about failure. They also focused on how vital soft skills are in our working life.
  • High Altitude Aeronautics: our guests were Mina Nardo, Software Engineer in the Aerospace field in Turin, and Leonardo Orsini, Stamping Validation Engineer in the Automotive field. They talked about how normal it is to have doubts and second thoughts. Their advice to our associates was to bite the bullet and keep their eyes on the prize. In addition, they shared their personal experience in the ERASMUS program.
  • Signals from Systems: our guests were Alice Pellegrino, System Engineer and Subcontractors Manager in Belgium, and Luca Ferrone, Space Segment Engineer. Thanks to them, we had the opportunity to talk about balancing our personal life with studying, finding our studying method, learning new languages, and going out of our comfort zone.

If you want to know more about this event, you can find an article on our blog. Don't worry about the language; if you're not fluent in Italian, you can easily translate it into English by clicking the button on the top left of the website.

But what about all the people who couldn't be present during our live events? EUROAVIA Napoli is proud to announce our latest format: a podcast!

"Caffè al Volo" is our new project: we have gathered our most interesting #EANaChats, and we have made them available on Spotify, Anchor, Breaker, Google Podcast, Pocket Casts, and RadioPubblic, so everyone can listen to them whenever and wherever they want, even under the parasol on the beach!Captura de ecrã 2021 07 27 às 21.16.10
